Connect
Stay connected to your entire team with our connection tools like Chat, Channels, or Meetings. Messages can be sent instantly for a live conversation or accessed later to review information or respond whenever is convenient for you.
CHAT
One-on-one or in a group, chat is one of the central features of Microsoft Teams. Remote workers within your organization can manage threaded conversations with one another, sending messages that can include files, emojis, and GIFs. Using Azure active directory, employees can quickly find other colleagues and collaborate.
TEAMS CHANNELS
A channel is a dedicated space within Microsoft Teams for sharing messages, tools, and files. They can be organized by group or any relevant category that makes collaboration easy.
Employees can communicate in threads that keep instant messaging conversations focused and easy to find, and they can enable, or limit notifications as needed. Channels also allow you to organize your digital environment into folders, acting as a central place for file storage and file sharing.
MEETINGS
Meetings is one of the most important collaboration tools employees will love. With audio, video, and screen sharing capabilities, people can share and interact any way they'd like. You also don't have to be an employee or even own a Microsoft account to join a Teams Meeting. Invite guests simply by sending them login instructions, and they can join the meeting.
You can also create breakout rooms, or "smaller meeting rooms" within a larger meeting. This is a great feature for workshops where small teams can huddle privately and then rejoin the meeting for a presentation.
Microsoft Teams offers text transcripts of recorded meetings, and even live transcriptions that allow participants to see what a speaker is saying in real time. This is a useful feature for remote workers in noisy environments or for people that are hearing impaired.
